"Foreign Soul"
From my acquaintance with the composer and singer Cris Araujo, a beautiful friendship and a series of paintings emerged, at the time when Cris recorded her first CD.
I painted a canvas for each song and together we decided that not just one would go on the CD cover, but all of them would make up an art catalog to accompany it.
The paintings were exhibited in the gallery of Casa Thomas Jefferson, in Brasília - Brazil, in April 2019, in the same place as the CD launch show, where viewers could feel the intertwining between music and visual arts of an outsider soul.

“When you paint with your hands, you let the child go. She's the boss! Playfulness assumes artistic creation. Emotion translates music directly. It is through your fingertips that colors pulse, dance, live and music becomes painting.”
